Originally from New England, Beth’s SUP experience includes, year round paddling, two 14 mile open ocean paddles off the coast of NH, paddling the largest Fjord in Norway and many races. Beth loves salty river paddles!

Beth McKinley is a semi-retired registered nurse who has a passion for Eco-Touring on her paddle board for SUP Englewood. For Beth, it’s not a job, it’s a passion. Beth thoroughly loves to share her passion with others through exploring, teaching, and engaging. She thrives through others’ reactions to the amazing wildlife and the incredible secrets of marine life.

Beth is proud to say she has encouraged many individuals to engage successfully in stand up paddle boarding. Stand up paddling is like walking on water. You’ll be amazed by what you see!
Certifications
Previously certified Level 1 SUP instructor with ACA, Beth is currently certified with PaddleFit. She continues working on her goal of becoming an Advanced Florida Master Naturalist through UF and Mote Marine Laboratory.
Conservation
Beth’s passions also include assuring clean beaches and waterways and protecting our beloved Manatees. She vows to continue working with local conservation groups to preserve our stunning waterways in SWFL. Beth volunteers for water quality monitoring, clean-up events and anywhere where she can make an impact. Beth spends countless volunteer hours with Lemon Bay Watch and Lemon Bay Conservancy as well as Keep Charlotte Beautiful.
