The Stump Pass Beach State Park provides habitat to many bird species. Song birds, wading birds, shorebird, gulls, terns and birds of prey. Common sightings include: great blue heron, great egret, snowy egret, little blue heron, green heron, skimmers, royal turns, varying gulls, snowy plovers, willets, sandpipers, belted king fisher, osprey, and bald eagles.

Everyday is a new adventure. As you walk along a nature trail we may see raccoons, opossums, marsh hares, box turtles, or gopher tortoises. On occasion we see wildlife in the seagrass flats and passing dolphin or manatee.
