The man and women who were working were wonderful. Super helpful when it came to my boyfriend and I paddle boarding as beginners. They made it super easy to navigate for the best site seeing and access. Highly recommend this place and they are perfectly priced!

Incredible experience with SUP Englewood! Ray was great to work with. He made recommendations that would work best for our family. This ultimately led to a guided SUP tour of Don Pedro State Park! Speaking of guided tour, Jeff was our guide! Actually, Jeff was more than a guide, it was like spending time with friend. Jeff provided detailed instructions on safety, SUP navigation techniques, things to be on the lookout for in the park. While on the water, Jeff guided to different areas that included dolphins, manatees, and mangroves. All the while he provided encouragement to us novice paddlers! He captured pictures of the experience and also provide detailed information on the park and marine life we encountered! Thanks again Jeff! At the end of the tour, Nicole greeted us and thanked us for coming out. Personal touches like that sets small businesses like SUP Englewood ahead of the others! Keep up the great work SUP Englewood! We had an amazing time with Nicole on 7/27! She is a patient trainer with 15 years experience. We are new paddle boarders in our 60s. Nicole is very well versed in the saltwater habitat. We saw manatees, stingrays and dolphin inside of 50 ft and a soak/swim on a sandbar at the halfway point. She can also take photos with her sunglasses! It was a wonderful day! Thanks Nicole! Came down from Philly, rented kayaks for a pretty large party. Danny our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, professional and accommodating. Great prices! We had several people that weren’t super comfortable kayaking however Danny made them feel a bit more at ease. Highly recommend.

We took a trip to Englewood and booked a rental with them. We had so much fun we booked another rental the same trip. We saw manatees twice, had the beach virtually to ourselves, and had no issues navigating with their map. They also have bathrooms, hoses to wash your stuff. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. You don’t need to be a great kayaker to go either. They will teach you or you can go in guided tours. Next time we are in the area we will 100% be back.

Awesome time! My niece and i used the kayaks and my brother and daughter used the paddle boards and it was such a great time! Manatees and dolphins both came up to us. It was amazing and one of the highlights of our vacation. The staff was amazing, very patient in teaching us how to use the equipment and very knowledgeable of the area and wildlife! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Superb experience. All the staff were hugely welcoming and couldn’t have done more to accommodate us - when the weather turned inclement, they didn’t hesitate to rebook for another date for us to come back. The kayaks were very good quality and the entire day was great. We saw dolphins and manatees, as well as other wildlife like ospreys. Can’t recommend them highly enough - of all the excursions in the area that we did, they were the most friendly and welcoming. Thanks to Ray and your team for a memorable vacation experience!

My boyfriend and I had a great time kayaking with Danny as our tour guide! He was incredibly knowledgeable about the local area, wildlife, and environment. One of the highlights was spotting a manatee and her baby multiple times — such an unforgettable experience! We also got to watch seagulls and osprey diving into the water to catch fish, which was so cool to see up close. I was a little nervous beforehand since I hadn’t kayaked in years and had only done it on a river. But Danny went over all the techniques and safety tips before we got started, which really helped me feel confident and comfortable on the water. I highly recommend SUP if you’re looking for a fun way to explore local wildlife and enjoy being out on the water!

Great experience for us! The employees were kind and helpful, I had a few questions when I booked online and they were quick to return my email and had tons of useful information for me. They provide a map which helped us a lot, and gave us tips on where to see wild life and how to get to an island to swim. I highly recommend booking a kayak trip with these guys!

Booked a last-minute kayak tour with SUP Englewood and had an amazing time! We saw dolphins, manatees, and even a conch. The water was beautiful and the whole experience was super laid-back and fun. Our guide, Jeff, was awesome—funny, easygoing, and really knowledgeable about the area and wildlife. Knowing many of us left our phones behind, he even took photos for everyone during the tour, which was such a nice bonus. The entire process was quick and easy. We took a group of Girl Scouts on a kayak adventure as a cookie reward. SUP Englewood was amazing! We had a fabulous tour. We got to see a dolphin, a manatee, and many other small animals. Our guides, Nicole and Tye, were incredible and very knowledgeable. Everyone was wonderful to work with and the equipment was in excellent shape. I would highly recommend using them for your next adventure!

Our guide Danny was excellent! Very friendly and informative! He spent ample time providing good safety tips and paddling techniques aimed at the first time kayaker/stand up board user. Born and raised in Englewood, I could quickly tell that he genuinely loves his job and all the various wildlife that lives in this area. He has a wealth of knowledge about all of the birds, fish, manatees and dolphins and I made sure to stay within earshot of his detailed descriptions of this beautiful ecosystem which you can certainly tell that he loves his place as a guide. He knows where to find and see the various aquatic/air residents respecting their space and knows their habits & eating spots. He takes pictures of each customer at various spots along the way so you really don't need to bring your phone avoiding the risk dropping it in the drink and sends them to your email. Bonus! He took us to an excellent spot to see manatees up close and they were swimming, eating and playing all around our small group some of which are close to the size of the kayak! They seemed just as curious about us as we were of them. Along the way we also saw a big black pelican dive down and scoop up a fish right in front of us and we also saw a tri-colored heron hunting, osprey, silver mullet fish jumping and the way back we saw a couple of dolphins that came by to say hi to us! He never stopped providing details of what we encountered, answering any and all questions asked. I would highly recommend taking one of their fantastic tours to anyone that lives in Florida or is visiting the area like I was. it was a very unique experience that I will never forget! And I really liked them sending me all the pictures taken from a nice standing vantage point. Thank you so much Danny and company! Five stars!!!!!

Easy to book. Flexible with our group especially after we were caught in a lightning storm. They had boats by the dock and gave clear directions. They even sent a guide out when the weather was changing. 100% would do it again.

Beware: the prices on their website are misleading. I spoke with Nicole about a week before my trip down there about booking a few kayaks. I spoke with Ray later the same week to confirm. The email invoice I received was 40% more than the price discussed. When I asked about the difference in price, I was informed of the delivery surcharge. This was not noted on the invoice, nor was it mentioned in either of my conversations, nor is it listed anywhere on their website. Not good business to advertise one price then charge a different price with no explanation. They were not apologetic about a 40% increase that was not mentioned at any point. I went ahead with the booking because they’re the only show in town right now. About an hour before the scheduled meet up, I got a call from Nicole that the weather was forecasted to be a problem, and we needed to reschedule for a different day. However, I checked the weather the night before, the morning of, and during our conversation using Google Weather and the Weather Channel app. Both reflected a 30% chance of slight rain during one of the 4 hours. The radar looked pretty clear. The rest of the day had a chance of less than 10%. Nothing changed in the predicted forecast. As a Florida native and an outdoor business owner here, I certainly understand the volatility of our weather and the importance of monitoring it early and often when you’re outdoors and especially on the water. That is why I always use two different highly trusted weather services to independently verify what the weather might do. Both of my resources indicated the chances were small and skies would be mostly clear until early evening storms rolled in (typical Florida summer weather pattern). Based on the forecast, there was no risk of severe weather and no reason to cancel. I offered to push the start a few hours out of an unnecessary abundance of caution, but Nicole was set on cancelling. Based on our plans we were unable to reschedule. We were in the area anyway and spent the day at a beach nearby. The weather all day was just as predicted – no rain, full sun, no clouds. I can’t figure out why she wanted to cancel so bad, but I’m pretty confident it had nothing to do with the weather. The pricing shenanigans and the fictious weather forecasting makes me question what’s going on.

My son and I visit Englewood each summer and we always rent kayakers on Boca Grande. This year we wanted to try a guided tour of the local mangroves and we were not disappointed! In a word, SUP Englewood was AWESOME! Our guide and Master Naturalist, Danny, was a phenomenal host. He was incredibly knowledgable about the local area, did a great job keeping our small group entertained. He even took a ton a pictures so we didn't have to! We saw a dolphin, several manatees (very cool), and lots of different birds. Paddling around the mangroves was quiet, relaxing, and beautiful. The tour was worth the time and money. We rented kayaks today from SUP Englewood Rentals and had such a great experience! The whole process was easy and smooth, and the staff was super friendly and helpful in getting us set up. Our family had a wonderful time out on the water — the scenery was beautiful, and it was the perfect way to spend the day together. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a fun and relaxing outdoor activity in the area!

This is our second year using SUP Englewood. We did a mix of paddle boards and kayaks. The check-in process was fast and the staff were very accommodating. All your equipment will be ready to go at the starting point. We got to see lots of wild life and went through a really cool maze/tunnel where we saw lots of unique fish. We requested Jeff again as our guide, and he did not disappoint. He is very helpful, kind, and patient with newbies. He makes the day of fun experience!! We can’t wait to go again! Would highly recommend! My husband and I have both only kayaked once before and our son has done it a few times. Jeff was a great instructor and guide. We felt completely comfortable out on the water with him. We all had a great time! He went out of his way to show us everything we wanted to see. We got to see some dolphins playing together. It was amazing! If you are in the area, don't hesitate to give them a try. You won't regret it!

My husband and I went out with Tye today and he was very knowledgeable and friendly. We wanted to have a fun afternoon and experience something new as we are new to Florida, and this was fantastic. Best part for us was seeing the manatee so close to us. The beach was also beautiful! Thankful Tye got some photos of us to share and reminisce about. Definitely recommend!

We had an amazing day on the water. Jeff was our guide and he was awesome! The entire experience was so memorable and the cherry on top was seeing some manatee. I would highly recommend them and will book another tour the next time we visit.

Rented a few of their kayaks and had a blast. The staff is knowledgeable and informed us about how to make the best of our trip. The "dolphin wall," which is about a 10 minute paddle from the dock, is where we saw two dolphins. Only a little down further is where we saw the elusive manatee. I'd give them 10 stars if I could. Both basically where they said we'd see these creatures.

Wonderful experience with Ray. We know seeing wildlife isn’t guaranteed, but we saw everything we were hoping for and more. Ray had great stories and so much knowledge. Would come down to Florida again just to go on this excursion and see the manatees with SUP! 🌊

Tons of shade on the boat which was important for us. Great paddle boarding , dolphin spotting and shelling. Will definitely go again. Truly enjoyed supporting this local owned family business. Amazing paddle adventure! Quick and seamless to organize. Booked by calling phone number. Lady was very helpful and explained details clearly. Emailed paperwork and let us pay online before we arrived. My GF and I had only a couple of hours to explore because we needed to head back home to Jax FL. Got two single kayaks for $100 out the door. Even gave me a fishing kayak to help store my rod and tackle instead of regular. Easy drive and plenty of parking when we arrived. Two coed bathrooms to change in and a hose to rinse off when done. Staff was helpful and came up with a map and route that accommodated our short time which included dolphins, sight seeing, fishing and a mangrove canopy route (Amazing!). All was accomplished and we were satisfied. We will be back for sure!
