HOW TO BOOK A TOUR FOR YOUR GUESTS
Step 1: Check Availability
- Use our real-time availability calendar to identify open slots that align with your guests’ preferred dates. Once a tour time is selected, other time slots will automatically become unavailable to ensure privacy.
Step 2: Select a Tour
- All tours are private. Choose from the available times tailored specifically for hotel guests.
Step 3: Select the Gear Needed
- Single Kayaks: Designed for one person, up to 350 pounds.
- Paddle Boards: Capacity for one person, up to 350 pounds.
- Clear Bottom Tandem Kayak: For two people, with no individual over 250 pounds and a total weight limit of 425 pounds.
- For guests over the weight limit in a tandem kayak, recommend two single kayaks for the best experience.
- If children are part of the party, please note our policy: Minors 14+ can paddle independently.
Step 4: Fill Out the Booking Form
- Provide all necessary guest information. There is a section to add special requests or notes pertinent to the tour experience.
Step 5: Read The Checkboxes
- Important booking policies and safety information are outlined in checkboxes. Ensure guests are aware of these details during the booking process.
Step 6: Waivers
- Guests need to provide an email to receive booking details and a link to the waiver. According to Florida law and Lee County Parks and Recreation bylaws, waivers cannot be filled out on-site. This step must be completed via smartphone; assistance is available via phone for any questions.
Step 7: Answer Questions
- A section for Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) is provided on this page to assist with guests questions.
Step 8: Inform Guests of What to Bring
- Recommend appropriate attire and items: clothes suitable for getting wet, water shoes or flip flops, a hat, polarized sunglasses, sunscreen, and bottled water. Dry bags for cell phones will be provided, and guests are advised to leave other belongings at the hotel.
Step 9: No Restrooms On-Site
- Inform guests there are no restroom facilities available at the launch site, and remind them to prepare accordingly before departure.
Step 10: Confirmation
- After booking, guests will receive an email confirmation with all tour details.
At SUP Englewood, we conduct waterway assessments and monitor weather conditions for your optimal experience. We will contact you with any weather concerns as soon as possible. Clients have to have a card on file with us for the reservation. We also need to be able to send them an email with the waiver forms. Please call our office at 941-265-2925 if any client does not want to pay in advance and prefers to have a card held for the tour.
Yes, we offer group discounts for parties of 8 or more. The group discount for 8 or more people in one tour is $115 per person.

SUP Englewood has a 48 hour cancellation policy. All services can be cancelled with a full refund in that time-frame. All other refunds are subject to approval by SUP Englewood Management.
All minors must be accompanied by an adult 18 and over. Parents and/or legal guardians must be the ones to sign the waiver forms for all minors.
It is recommended for children under 14 to be paired with an adult in a tandem kayak. We offer clear bottom tandem kayaks and usually children enjoy looking through the clear kayak for dolphins and manatees. This is to ensure their safety on the water as lighter paddlers can be caught in the wind quickly.
- Epilepsy/Seizure Disorders: Conditions that could lead to a sudden loss of consciousness or motor control.
- Vertigo and Balance Issues: Disorders that can cause dizziness or a loss of equilibrium, which could be dangerous if it occurs while on a paddle craft.
- Severe Allergies: Especially those that can lead to anaphylaxis, such as bee stings or certain foods, which might be difficult to manage in a remote water setting.
- Respiratory Conditions: Such as severe asthma or COPD, where breathing could be impaired, especially in the event of capsize.
- Limited Mobility or Paralysis: Physical disabilities that can limit a person’s ability to swim or re-enter a craft if capsized.
- Vision Impairment: Significant vision loss that could impede navigation and safety on the water.
- Hearing Impairment: Challenges in hearing which might prevent someone from noticing alarms or calls for help.
- Diabetes: Especially if not well-controlled, as low or high blood sugar can lead to an emergency situation.
- Cardiac Conditions: Including a history of heart attack, angina, or other heart-related issues that might be exacerbated by the physical exertion associated with paddling.
- Psychiatric Conditions: Such as severe anxiety or panic disorders, which could be triggered by the open water environment.
- Skin Conditions: That could be aggravated by sun exposure or allergic reactions to saltwater or marine life.
- Blood Disorders: Like hemophilia or those prone to clotting, where an injury could lead to significant bleeding or other complications.
- Immunodeficiency: Where infections or exposure to the elements could pose a serious health risk.
- Chronic Pain Conditions: Such as fibromyalgia or chronic back pain, which could be aggravated by the physical activity involved in paddling.
- Neurological Conditions: Such as multiple sclerosis or Parkinson’s disease, where muscle control and coordination are affected.
