Danny was a terrific guide! He was knowledgeable and was amazing at spotting marine life. We definitely would not have known what to look for - learned so much and had a great experience. Everyone we came in contact with, either by phone or in person, was friendly and helpful. He even took loads of great pictures of what we saw and of us then shared them with us at the end of our tour. It's a public park and dock so you can put in if you car-top your own. It's a roughly 800ft walk from the parking lot so be prepared to carry your SUP or kayak. However, they kindly offer the use of their carts if they are open for business and are not too busy. My friend and I went on a Friday and were lucky to have calm water and barely any motor boats. I returned on Saturday on my own with my own SUP - not as fun with so many motor boats who did not respect the no wake zone.

Fantastic experience! People were friendly, knowledgeable and communicated all information clearly. Lots to see, and we were lucky enough to have several manatees approach us and hang out for almost 30 minutes. A dream come true! The beach on the far end of the paddle is spectacular. Would definitely do this again and recommend to all my family and friends!

This was by far the coolest Florida experience I’ve ever had in 30 years of Florida visits. We ventured out with our kids and the map and it was quite the adventure. Being up close to dolphins was unbelievable. The serenity of the water is indescribable. And the paddle only beach was a tropical dream of clear water and sandbars. Pack a lunch and adventure out you won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely amazing experience. The staff was super friendly and helpful, the equipment was great, and having a map was fantastic. The path that they lead you on is perfect because there aren't a lot of boats. We saw everything but Manatees so that's pretty awesome. Definitely a must do and worth the price!

Take the tour! Jeff was a great guide, informative about the area, paced with my experience and spotted dolphins and manatees. He even took pictures for me so I could enjoy paddling. The best! If you are thinking about it, stop thinking and book it. There are helpers at the dock to help you in and out of the kayak. They show you how to optimize your paddle. Then you get on the water and enjoy the sun, the mangroves and the wildlife. Great Day! I will book again and bring family along!

This is a don’t miss experience. Set in a state park there is wildlife, quiet waters, and a near empty beach. The SUP folks couldn’t have been more helpful. We walked away feeling rejuvenated. The dolphins were amazing

SUP Englewood Don Pedro State Park is awesome for kayak and paddleboard rentals and guides. We have been out with Jeff multiple times. He’s a lot of fun and very patient. We went kayaking with him, and then we came back to take paddle boarding lesson. He is very patient. We caught on real quick thanks to his knowledge and guidance. Don Pedro in Englewood is a great place to go out of because of there’s so much to see. We saw white pelicans, dolphins, herons, and all kind of other wildlife. We will be back! So much fun.

Absolutely excellent staff! Friendly and professional. We did not have a guide, but they gave us instructions and great map, and that was all we needed. Equipment was clean and well maintained. Great area of Florida to see wildlife, dolphins, manatees and a sea turtle (very rare). Lots of birds too.

We had the most amazing time kayaking for my birthday! Danny was the best guide we could have asked for. This was our first time kayaking, and we enjoyed it so much that we already booked another trip. Danny took us through the beautiful Mangrove Cave at Don Pedro Island State Park During our adventure we were lucky enough to see a mama and baby manatee. Watching the baby manatee swim up to the kayaks, curiously nudging them with its nose, was absolutely incredible and unforgettable. Danny also took photos throughout our adventure, which was such a thoughtful touch. We can’t wait to go kayaking again and highly recommend this experience!

Danny was a great guide. He brought us to dolphins, starfish, manatees, osprey. I highly reccomend this for a family outing.

The guided kayak tour was fantastic! From paddling through a twisty mangrove-lined stream to the best experience with manatees that I’ve ever had, the trip was one highlight after another. Danny, our guide, was great at pointing out wildlife, knowledgeable about everything that we were seeing and the pictures that we received after the trip were an unexpected bonus!

Me and my husband had the best time following their map and directions where we rented from them. The staff was kind and very informative and really made sure we had a great time. I've rented kayaks elsewhere before in Florida and none of them were as detail oriented or anything. I highly recommend renting from here if you want a great activity that takes up most if the day.

Highly recommend the kayaking eco tour!!! We’re somewhat novice kayakers so we thought a tour would be a great idea to see the park first before we try to venture out on our own. Jeff was our guide today and he was just wonderful! Very friendly and knowledgeable about the local waterways and ecosystem. He got some great pictures of our group, and although we didn’t see any manatees, we did catch a great dolphin show at the end! Many thanks to SUP Englewood!!

Super fun tour. Highly recommended. We saw numerous dolphin, a couple of manatees, and loads of varied birdlife. You will paddle past mangroves, through sheltered bays, and finally to a quiet beach on the Gulf. Our party was my wife and I, and our son and fiancée, each couple in a tandem sit-on-top kayak. The gear - kayak, paddles, and life jackets - was all in good shape. Our tour guide, Jeff, was friendly and knowledgeable. You will get wet, from a brief wade in shallow water getting in and out of the kayak, and inevitably water dribbling off the paddles. I suggest bringing a full change of dry clothes for the drive back. There are fresh water hoses at the office for rinsing off salt water. If you're visiting, this will be a highlight of your Florida trip. If you're local, get out there and enjoy a couple of hours of pleasant paddling and wildlife viewing.

Our group of 5 had so much fun renting single kayaks and getting a guided tour from Danny! We saw a manatee, a dolphin, the Florida state conch shell, sea stars, an upside down jellyfish, bald eagles, ospreys… and more! What a fantastic tour, thanks for a great time!

We had a morning boat tour since our visitor couldn't kayak and it was fabulous. Within the first hour we saw manatee, osprey, an eagle and too many dolphin to count. Our captain was very knowledgeable and did a great job of finding the wildlife we wanted to see. Will definitely use SUP Englewood in the future

This Kayak trip was Amazing! Right away our guide spotted Dolphins feeding. The highlight was this extremely friendly, curious Manatee. This handsome Manatee visited everyone that was in our group.
